Cantrell and Moore punch ticket to 2018 Bassmaster College National Championship

JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. — Campbellsville anglers Dakota Cantrell and Austin Moore punched their ticket to the 2018 Bassmaster College National Championship. 
 
The top Tiger duo placed eighth on Cherokee Lake in the Carhartt Bassmaster College Series Eastern Tour presented by Bass Pro Shops. Moore and Cantrell bagged a total of 39 pounds 2 ounces – just three pounds 8 ounces out of first. 
 
Lucas Murphy and Nolan Hitt of Grand Valley State University totaled 42 pounds 10 ounces to claim the title. 
 
In addition, Bradley Dunagan and Nick Ratliff finished in the Top 30 for their second time this season. The duo totaled 30 pounds 15 ounces. 
 
Six other Campbellsville boats were in the field:

The Tigers will get back in action next week with the Cabelas National Championship in Pickwick, Tenn.
