CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. — The city of Campbellsville and Taylor County is planned to recognize the Campbellsville University Bass Fishing team on Friday, Aug. 10 at 11 a.m. ET.
The event is in cooperation with Campbellsville Mayor Tony Young and Taylor County Judge Executive Eddie Rogers. Both will be in attendance to confirm the proclamation of the Campbellsville University anglers –
Nick Ratliff and
Bradley Dunagan.
Judge Rogers and Mayor Young will announced Aug. 14 as Campbellsville University Bass Fishing Day to recognize the anglers and their recent accomplishments. The event is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. ET at the Civic Center in downtown Campbellsville. This is open to the public.
The CU anglers recently finished second in the B.A.S.S. College Series National Championship. Dunagan and Ratliff will now compete in the 2018 Carhartt College Bracket presented by Bass Pro Shops, set for Aug. 14-16 on Milford Lake out of Junction City, Kansas. Both will split up for the first time this season and fish individually with the winner picking up a brand-new fully loaded Toyota truck and fully loaded boat to use next season.
A berth in the 2019 Bassmaster Classic presented by DICK'S Sporting Goods, set for March 15-17 on the Tennessee River hosted at Knoxville, will be on the line in the Bracket as well.
