PORTSMOUTH, Ohio — Playing shorthanded and down to only seven available players overall, Campbellsville couldn't hold off a late run by Shawnee State and falls, 82-81.

The loss gives No. 10 Campbellsville four straight in conference play and CU falls to 16-6 overall and 2-5 inside MSC play.

The Tigers saw another second-half lead disappear as freshman Sam Weining hit his second 3 of the day with 13:51 left and put the Tigers ahead, 54-43. Hagen Tyler followed suit with a 3 to put CU ahead by eight with 11:02 left but then it was downhill from there.
