CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky.—Lady Tiger swimming hosted Life and Asbury on Friday evening in their first home tri-dual of the season.
The Lady Tiger night was sparked by numerous season bests as the Lady Tigers battled in the water with the pair of Eagle squads.
CU started the night with a 14 second improvement in the 400-medley relay swam by Sarah Beth Howard,
Hannah Rhodenbaugh,
Faith Hyde, and
Hannah Hager. The ladies were able to throw together a 5:21.79 to finish third in the event.
Hager also found success in her individual events placing fourth in the 200-meter freestyle with a 2:26.86, and fifth in 100-meter freestyle where she used a 1:10.23 to mark a season best.
In the 100-meter backstroke, the Lady Tigers were able to record third and fourth place finishes behind Howard and Hyde. Howard led the way with a 1:17.84, while Hyde followed with a 1:18.30.
Three Lady Tigers were also able to finish highly in the 400-meter freestyle. In the event, Rhodenbaugh was able to mark a 4:57.95 to place third.
Mikayla Runner and
Anna Lewis were also able to finish fifth and sixth with a 5:39.85 and 6:22.66.
CU will look for continued improvements when they host Union College and Lindsey Wilson on November 2
