Lady Tiger wrestling earns four wins over Top 11 programs at Patriot Duals

WILLIAMSBURG, Ky. — Four wins over NAIA Top 11 programs handed Campbellsville University women's wrestling to a perfect 4-0 record at the University of the Cumberlands Patriot Duals.

The Lady Tigers dominated their competition, including knocking off No. 1 Life University, 29-16. CU also took down the host and No. 3 University of the Cumberlands (32-14), No. 8 Lyon College (36-10), and No. 11 Missouri Valley College (45-3).

The Lady Tigers also took their second team of 10 wrestlers and they finished with a 2-2 record, including wins over Missouri Valley (34-11) and Lyon College (26-17). CU's second team also only lost to No. 1 Life University by one point, 23-22.

McKenzie Bacich, McKayla Campbell, Katlyn Pizzo, Charlotte Fowler, Abigail Nette, Kenya Sloan all were perfect on Friday with 4-0 records.

The Lady Tigers will now have a few weeks to prepare for a home dual against University of the Cumberlands on Friday, Dec. 6 at 7 p.m. ET.
