Lady Tigers boast improvements in dual with Patriots

WILLIAMSBURG, Ky. – The Lady Tigers visited the University of the Cumberlands as they competed in a dual against the Patriots.
 
On the day, Sarah Beth Howard took the only win of the day for the Lady Tigers winning the 50-yard freestyle in a time of 26.56 improving her season best. Faith Hyde joined Howard, finished in fourth with a final time of 29.24.
 
Anna Lewis was also able to swim the 400-yard IM for the first time in her career as she battled in the event, finishing in seventh with a 6:19.06.
 
Lewis went on to swim a season best in the 500-yard freestyle where she finished third with a 6:48.44.
 
Hannah Rhodenbaugh and Hannah Hager were also able to capitalize on third place finishes in the dual. Rhodenbaugh swam the 100-yard backstroke for the first time in the season, swimming a 106.26.
 
Hager, in the 200-yard freestyle, was able to tie for third in the event as she swam a season best 2:08.54.
 
The Lady Tigers will now look to taper in preparation for their mid-season invite at the Sewanee Invitational on Nov. 22.
