Jones and Cantrell sit in fourth place after Day 1 at YETI FLW Open Division

KENTUCKY LAKE — A pair of Tiger anglers are currently fourth after Day 1 of the YETI FLW Open Division.

Dustin Jones and Dakota Cantrell had a solid day on Kentucky Lake with a limit of five fish at 23 pounds 5 ounces – which is six ounces off the lead by McKendree University's Blake Jackson and Trevor McKinney.

The top 10 of this event is absolutely stacked, and even to be in the top 20 required a bag of at least 20-1. The entire field of 196 teams weighed in 21 bags over 20 pounds and 21 more over 15 pounds. Kentucky Lake showed out in a big way, and McKinney and Jackson made sure it showed out best for them.

In total, Campbellsville University had 10 boats in the field eight of them catching at least two fish for almost three pounds.

Tanner Barnes and Ezra Oliver totaled 19-3 and are in 24^thplace, while Caleb Stephenson and Justin Mayfield are in 33^rdwith 17-6.

Jordan Smallwood and Bradley Dunagan sit in 50^thplace after reeling in four fish at 13-3. Mason Sapp and Morgan Miracle were able to haul in three fish for 9-5 and are in 76^th.

Grant Adams and Peyton Cox had a big smallmouth that weighed in at 3-5 but that was the lone catch of the day. That duo is in 117^th. Wil Ridgon and Dalton Smith are in 125^thwith one fish at 2-13, while Dustin Bauer and Colby Hayes are in 127^that 2-11.

Adam Carman and Evan Davis are in boat No. 9 and Abbie Greynolds and Trevor Sagracy are in No 10 but couldn't reel in any keepers on Day 1.

The second-round finishes on Wednesday at Kentucky Lake at 8:30 a.m. ET with weigh-in at 4:30 p.m. ET at Moors Resort & Marina.
