  • The Lady Tigers had won 11-straight games in the series from 2009-10 to the 2014-15 season. CU has won five straight dating back to the 2017 season.

Lady Tigers roll past Cumberlands in MSC Quarterfinal:
  • Campbellsville has defeated University of the Cumberlands just two times by 30 or more points in the Ginger High Colvin era and both of those came this season. The Lady Tigers picked up a 33-point win over the Patriots in the first round of the Mid-South Conference Tournament, 77-44, on Friday morning.
  • Of the five Lady Tigers that earned All-Conference honors last night, it was one that didn't get a mention to lead the way in the scoring column Friday morning. Madison Kaiser finished with 19 points on 7-of-12 shooting, including three Edward Jones 3-pointers.
  • Savannah Gregory, the MSC Defensive Player of the Year, finished the day with 13 points, four assists and two steals. Jordan Doram, a Second-Team All MSC recipient, scored 13 points off the bench. The two combined to hit 11-of-14 from the floor and 26 points.
  • The lone Lady Tiger that didn't tally a point was First-Team All MSC point guard Caitlin Hall, but she finished with six assists.
Lindsey Wilson's Reagan Turner named Player of the Year:
  • Turner has averaged 20.3 points per game so far this season which is the sixth best in the NAIA and leads the MSC. She stepped up her game during conference play, upping her average to 23.1 points per game, ranking second in the country. She has scored the fifth most points in the NAIA, totaling 608 points on the year.
  • The sophomore guard boasts the second-best shooting percentage in the MSC at 45.5 percent and has shot 82.6 percent from the foul line, making 209 attempts on the season. That is 107 more made foul shots than the next closest MSC player. She also leads Lindsey Wilson with 3.5 assists a game. Turner is getting it done defensively as well as she has racked up the third most steals in the conference, averaging 2.3 a game, for a total of 69 on the year.
  • Turner winning MSC Player of the Year marks the third-straight season -- sixth all-time -- a Blue Raider has earned the award, as Kayla Styles won it the previous two seasons. Last season, Turner was named MSC Freshman of the Year.
Lindsey Wilson beats Life in MSC Quarterfinal:
  • Fourth-seeded Lindsey Wilson women's basketball turned up the defense in the second half to beat fifth-seeded Life 77-70.
  • After Life shot nearly 52 percent from the field and led 36-33 at the half, the Blue Raider defense limited the Running Eagles to just 29.4 percent (10-of-34) from the floor to win for the first time this season when trailing at intermission. The Blue Raiders had lost all eight games this season when behind at the half.
  • Lindsey Wilson turned the tables offensively as well after the break. The Blue Raiders shot over 54 percent in the second half after shooting just 39 percent in the first 20 minutes.
  • Four Blue Raiders scored in double figures to avenge last Saturday's regular-season finale loss in Columbia. Lindsey Wilson lost that game 87-85 to fall from the No. 2 seed in the tournament to the No. 4 seed following the conference's tiebreaker. Lindsey Wilson finished the season tied for second place in the conference standings with Shawnee State and Pikeville.
