NCCAA names four Tiger track & field athletes as 2018-19 Scholar-Athletes

GREENVILLE, S.C. – The Campbellsville men's track and field team had four members selected to the NCCAA Scholar-Athlete team for the 2018-19 season.

Bret Crawford, Corbin Harris, Brayden Russell, and Camryn Snapp earned the honor from the NCCAA after also being named to the Mid-South Conference All-Academic team in late April.

To be eligible as a Scholar-Athlete, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.4 on a 4.0 scale, must appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport, be of at least junior standing and have attended two full years as a non-transfer or one full year as a transfer.

Harris was an NCCAA Champion in the 5000-meter run during the Indoor Championships and a fourth-place finisher in the 3000-meter steeplechase during the outdoor season.

Crawford, Snapp, and Russell are continuing their season at the NAIA Championships this week. Crawford and Snapp qualified as part of the 4x800-meter relay team with Russell set to participate in the high jump for the second-straight season.
