MOBILE, Ala. – The Campbellsville University men's tennis team kept their repeat hopes alive at the NCCAA Championship with a 5-1 win over Judson University on Wednesday in the final match in round robin play.
The match between the Tigers and Eagles was for the final spot in the NCCAA National Championship match against Ottawa University Arizona after the Spirit beat both teams to clinch their spot yesterday.
CU starting Wednesday's match, much like their 5-1 win over Cedarville on Tuesday going up 2-1 in doubles play with wins at the No. 1 and No. 2 pairings.
Campbellsville went on to win singles matches on the No. 2, No. 4, and No. 5 spots with leads on the other three courts before the score became final.

Cristian Perez, and
Cesar Castro all earned singles wins for the first time at the NCCAA Championships to help clinch the 5-1 win on Wednesday.
Tomorrow's championship match will start at 11:00 a.m. ET/10:00 a.m. CT in a rematch against Ottawa after the Spirit's 5-3 win over the Tigers in Monday's first match of the tournament.
