COLUMBIA, Ky. – The Campbellsville University women's volleyball team moved to 2-4 in Mid-South Conference play after Tuesday night's 3-0 loss to No. 10 Lindsey Wilson College.
The Lady Tigers dropped all three sets by the same score of 25-17 for the Blue Raiders to win their 13
th match of the season and fifth conference game.
The advantage for LWC in the match came by a narrow margin in kills and recorded five more aces than CU in the match. Kills went 41-34 in favor of the Blue Raiders with their hitting percentage finishing at .330 as a team compared to .161 for the Lady Tigers.
The Lindsey Wilson tandem of Kasia Niderla and Alexis Smith combined for 25 of the team's 41 kills as both topped the CU high in kills for the match with nine for
Sonia Flendrich.
Campbellsville will head up to Bourbonnais, Ill. this Friday and Saturday for the ONU/Holiday Inn Express Invite where they will compete in two matches each day in the tournament hosted by Olivet Nazarene University.
