PULASKI, Tenn. – With a sweep win over Martin Methodist already under their belt this season, the Campbellsville University women's volleyball team had the favor returned by MMC as the Redhawks took Thursday's match 3-0.
 
Martin Methodist won the sets 25-22, 25-21, and 26-24 to earn the sweep as neither team was stellar on the attack. Both MMC and CU hit for a percentage under .120 as the Redhawks percentage was .117 and the Lady Tigers hit for a .108 percentage.
 
Even with Campbellsville having only two less kills in the match, the Redhawks gained their advantages on the block and on the serve. MMC's four aces and eight blocks helped Martin Methodist earn seven more points in those categories.
 
A bright spot for the Lady Tigers was the performance from middle blocker Stela Velinova, who finished the night as CU's leading attacker in kills (8), hitting percentage (.389), and blocking with three block assists.
 
Campbellsville will have to put this match behind them as they will head right to Nashville, Tenn. for four matches over the next two days starting early tomorrow morning with a 9 a.m. CT/10 a.m. ET match against Brewton-Parker College.
