CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – Tiger and Lady Tiger swimming will look to close out the home portion of their season on Saturday as they plan to recognize their seniors in dual with Bethel University, beginning at 11 a.m. ET.
Senior's
Kate Bouldin,
Faith Hyde,
Chelsie Raikes,
Mikayla Runner,
Lexie Upton,
RJ Harris and
Tucker Hardin will be among the athletes being recognized.
As a group, these swimmers have aided Tiger and Lady Tiger swimming both in the classroom and in the water.
In the pool for the women, Hyde, Runner, and Upton have led the Lady Tigers through a tremendous growth period by adding their names to the program's all-time records list.
As a three-time national team member, Hyde holds relay records in the 200 and 400 medley relays, as well as the 400-freestyle relay.
Runner on the other hand has proven to be one of the top freestyle swimmers for the Lady Tigers with bests of 2:09 in the 200 free, 59 in the 100 free, and 27 in the 50 freestyle swims.
Upton has shown to be a staple for the Lady Tigers, holding the 400 IM record in the Powell Athletic Center Pool.
On the men's sign, Hardin and Harris have helped lead the men's squad to their first ever mention in the NAIA's top 10 poll earlier this season. Both Hardin and Harris be proven to be staples on the Tiger squad as the pair have participated on all record breaking, freestyle relay teams.
The pair also led Campbellsville to scoring the first points scored since the reinstatement of the swim program in the 200-freestyle relay at nationals in 2018.
Along with the freestyle records, Harris has participated on each record-breaking medley relay team as well.
Among the senior class, there have been 12 MSC Academic All-Conference recognitions and two Champion of Character awards.
Following their final home dual, the Tigers and Lady Tigers will return to action on Jan. 18
that 1 p.m. ET at Lindsey Wilson College.
