CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – As Lady Tiger swimming recognized its senior class, CU captured their first dual win of the season over Bethel, 105-67.
 
Prior the start of the day's competition, senior's Kate Bouldin, Faith Hyde, Mikayla Runner, and Lexie Upton were recognized by the swim program.
 
Hyde opened up the day for Campbellsville as a part of the event winning 200-meter relay team, joining Sara Beth Howard, Hannah Rhodenbaugh, and Hannah Hagar for a 2:21.20 mark.
 
Hyde then went on to finish fifth in the 50-meter freestyle (33.08) and second in the 100-meter freestyle (1:12.15).
 
Runner joined Hyde in these events as took eighth (33.80) and sixth (1:15.00) respectively. Runner later joined Rhodenbaugh, Howard, and Hager to break the team record for the 800-meter freestyle relay, winning the event.
 
Bouldin got her day started in the 200-meter freestyle placing third with a mark of 2:47.30 behind Hager's winning mark of 2:25.09. Bouldin later went on for a runner-up performance in the 400-meter freestyle (6:02.16), once again behind a win from Hager (5:25.57).
 
Upton was the last senior to start her day, beginning with an event win in the 400-meter IM, marking a 6:24.79. Anna Lewis followed behind in 7:08.00. Upton then went on for runner-up in the 200-meter IM with a 3:02.42, as Lewis closely trailed again with a 3:24.16.
 
On the day, Rhodenbaugh was also able to capture a pair of wins in the 1500-meter freestyle (20:31.56) and 100-meter backstroke (1:14.16).
 
Proud of the effort of her seniors, Coach Casey Bradstreet says, "I am very proud of my seniors and grateful for what they have brought to the program over the past four years! It was nice to see them all race today, even the events that were 'just for fun' and watching them interact with the rest of the family."
 
The Lady Tigers will close out their regular season next Saturday, January 18^th, at Lindsey Wilson College.
