Abby Nette named Mid-South Conference Women's Wrestler of the Week

CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. — Mid-South Conference officials announced Campbellsville University's Abby Nette as the MSC Women's Wrestling of the Week for the second time in her career.

Nette, a senior from St. Rose, La., won all three of her matches this past weekend at the NWCA National Duals.

She pinned all three opponents, beating out the No. 12-ranked wrestler at the 130-pound class and No. 15-ranked wrestler at the 136-pound class.

Nette's performance helped boost the Lady Tigers to a runner-up finish at the event. It's the second time in program history the Lady Tigers reached the NWCA finals as CU won the event in 2018. The Lady Tigers have now finished in the Top 5 each of the last three years at the NWCA National Duals.

CU returns home on Wednesday, Jan. 29 to host top-ranked Life University in a Mid-South Conference dual.
