Dunagan and Smith are behind leaders by a little more than one pound at Carhartt Bassmaster College Series on Lake Cumberland

JAMESTOWN, Ky. — A little over one pound is the difference between Campbellsville University's top boat and the leaders at the 2020 Carhartt Bassmaster College Series at Lake Cumberland.

Nolan Minor and Casey Lanier of West Virginia University sit atop the leaderboard with a five-fish limit of 13 pounds and 10 ounces. Campbellsville's Dalton Smith and Bradley Dunagan are right on their heels with a limit of 12 pounds and three ounces – sitting in fifth place.

Alec Coffey and Kyle Roy have a little work to do to make it to the Top 12 for the Saturday final day. The duo is just outside the Top 15 after day one with nine pounds seven ounces overall to sit in 16^th.

The rest of the CU boats have a bigger task at hand, but luck can change with the snap of a finger on Lake Cumberland.

33^rd – James Duncan and Blake Stringer (8 lbs. 1 oz.)
38^th – Shawn Coots and Luke Henderson (7 lbs. 11 oz.)
67^th – Morgan Miracle and Dustin Bauer (5 lbs. 11 oz.)
69^th – Logan Hawkins and Colby Hays (5 lbs. 9 oz.)
105^th – Tanner Barnes and Jordan Smallwood (3 lbs. 10 oz.)
121^st – Zach Bell and Jake Thornbury (2 lbs. 7 oz)

The Tigers already have two pairs in the championship field – Grant Adams & Wil Rigdon and Matthew Bradham & Caleb Stephenson. Both teams are not competing in this week's qualifier since they've already qualified for the Bassmaster National Championship.

Competition will start each day at 8 a.m. ET from Halcomb's Landing in Jamestown. Weigh-ins will be held back at the ramp each day at 4 p.m. ET and livestreamed on Bassmaster.com. The full field will fish Days 1 and 2, and the Top 12 teams will compete on Championship Saturday.

The tournament is being hosted by the Russell County Chamber of Commerce and State Dock on Lake Cumberland.
