Montgomery selected to Second-Team All-Conference; Renfro and Dowell earn Champions of Character honor

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — The Mid-South Conference announced the First and Second Team All-Conference bowlers and the Champions of Character Team last evening at the awards banquet.

Campbellsville's Austin Montgomery earned a Second-Team nod and Nolan Renfro earned the Champions of Character award for the men. On the women's side, Hannah Dowell earned the Champions of Character award.

Montgomery finished the regular season ranked No. 10 in bowling average throughout all Mid-South Conference bowlers. He averaged a 204.64 in 25 games. His season-high came was a 258 in the first game at the Cincinnati Classic at Western Bowl. He finished the regular season with 15 of his 25 games in the 200s.

Overall in program history, Montgomery becomes the 10^th bowler on the men's side to earn All-Conference honors for Campbellsville.

The Mid-South Conference Singles and Doubles Championship begins on Thursday morning and runs through Saturday.
