Tiger bowling advances to winner's bracket finals of the Mid-South Conference Team Championship

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — Underdog and sixth-seeded Campbellsville men's bowling made some noise on Friday in the Mid-South Conference Team Championships and the Tigers advanced in the winner's bracket. 
 
Campbellsville earned a win over No. 11-seeded Midway University in the first round, beat three-seed University of the Cumberlands in the quarterfinal and then knocked off two-seeded Pikeville in the semifinal of the winner's bracket. 
 
The Tigers will now face Tennessee Wesleyan, the tournament's fourth seed on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. ET at Southern Lanes in Bowling Green. 
 
The winner will move into the championship round and will have to be beaten twice. 
 
Martin Methodist and Pikeville will also bowl at 9:30 a.m. ET to see who will face the loser of Campbellsville-Tennessee Wesleyan in the loser's bracket finals. The winner of the loser's bracket will have to beat the winner's bracket champion twice on Saturday afternoon­ with the finals slated for 12 p.m. ET.
