Tiger bass fishing competes at FLW National Championship and Bassmaster College Series Regional

CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. — Campbellsville University Bass Fishing had 11 boats on the water this week at two major tournaments across the south – the FLW College National Championship and the B.A.S.S. College Series Regional Qualifier.

At the FLW National Championship on the Harris Chain of Lakes in Leesburg, Fla., the Tigers had two boats in the field – Adam Carman and Grant Adams were in one and the other was Bradley Dunagan.

Carman and Adams finished in 59^th place after totaling 22 lbs. 10oz. through two days on the water. In round one, the duo caught a limit of 15-9 but on Day 2 Carman and Adams reeled in just five fish weighing-in at 7-1.

Dunagan, finishing alone, had a slow tournament with only two fish being reeled into the boat. Day 1 day just a two-pound six-ounce bass but Day 2 was a different story. Dunagan reeled in a seven-pound 12-ounce bass in the second round to finish the week in 139^th place.

Stephen F. Austin's Chris Harrison and Ethan League won the FLW College Series National Championship with a total of 56 pounds and five ounces earning a $27,000 prize.

At the Bassmaster College Series on Smith Lake in Cullman, Ala., the Tigers had nine boats in the field.

Blake Stringer and James Duncan finished the highest in 49^th place with seven total fish weigh-in at 16lbs. 12oz. Day 1 saw Stringer and Duncan catch 12 pounds even but the top Tiger duo were only able to catch two keepers on Day 2 weighing-in at 4lbs. 12oz.

McKendree University's Ethan Jones and Andrew Althoff finished as regional champions after reeling in 13 fish weighing 47lbs. 4oz.

The Tigers get back on the water at Table Rock Lake in Brandon, Missouri on Friday, March 6 for the FLW Central Region Qualifier.
