Tiger and Lady Tiger wrestling travels to Cumberlands for alternating duals on Tuesday night

WILLIAMSBURG, Ky. — A pair of Mid-South Conference duals will be competing at the same time on Tuesday night as Campbellsville University men's and women's wrestling will travel to University of the Cumberlands.

The dual(s) begin at 7 p.m. ET in Williamsburg as the night will feature alternating matches for the women and men. Fans can tune into The University of the Cumberlands Sports Network for live video of each dual.

The No. 1-ranked Lady Tigers boast an 8-1 record and the lone blemish on its schedule came to Menlo at the NWCA National Duals. Campbellsville hasn't competed in a dual against any opponent outside the Top 11 all season. The women are coming off a win over previously ranked No. 1 Life University on Tuesday night before jumping the Running Eagles in the poll.

The seventh-ranked Tigers bring in a 19-1 duals record with its lone blemish coming against Life University at the National Duals. Like the women, the Tigers are eyeing a Mid-South Conference regular season crown after starting 2-0 in North Division duals by beating rival No. 4 Lindsey Wilson and Thomas More last week.

Mid-South Conference Regular Season on the line
  • The men and women are both seeking a MSC regular season title. The Tigers are 2-0 in the MSC North Division and tonight's matchup against the fifth-ranked Patriots will be another Top 10 showdown.
  • On the men's side, Cumberlands is 2-0 in the North Division after taking down Midway University and Thomas More in late January. They wrestle Campbellsville tonight and Lindsey Wilson on Friday to close on their conference schedule
  • The women are also 2-0 in MSC duals with wins over University of the Cumberlands and Life University. Life is 2-1 to sit in second place, while the Patriots are in third with a 0-2 record.
