Faulkner receives second NCCAA Player of the Year honor; Gregory named Second Team All-American

GREENVILLE, SC – As the National Christian College Athletic Association released its end of the year awards, Madison Faulkner was named Player of the Year and Savannah Gregory earned Second Team All-American honors.

One day after the WBCA released its installment of NAIA All-American honorees, mentioning Faulkner and Gregory, the NCCAA recognized the Lady Tiger duo with national honors as well.

Faulkner earned her second NCCAA Player of the Year honor after being receiving the award in 2019.

Throughout the 2019-20 season, Faulkner was able to average 17.5 points per game to rank her 11th among NCCAA participants.

In doing so, she helped to lead the Lady Tigers to the NCCAA No. 1 overall ranking in each of the NCCAA's national polls.

Gregory was named as a Second Team All-American after averaging 13.8 points throughout the regular season on 52.3% from the field, ranking fifth in the NCCAA.

With 95 steals prior to post season play, Gregory also sits second in the country in that category, averaging 3.0 per game.

The Lady Tiger duo reached multiple accolades throughout the season including joining the 1,000 point club, and Gregory passing the 300 steal mark.

Faulkner and Gregory add the NCCAA Awards to their list of MSC First-Team All-Conference and WBCA All-American mentions to their yearly accolades.
