Lady Tiger softball to play Judson University on Tuesday at Orange Beach Sportsplex

GULF SHORES, Ala. — A six-game road span in Gulf Shores begins on Tuesday as the 13th-ranked Lady Tigers play Judson University in a neutral doubleheader.
 
First pitch is scheduled for 11 a.m. ET / 10 a.m. CT at the Orange Beach Sportsplex - 4385 William Silvers Parkway, Orange Beach, AL. 

 
CU Sports Network:
  • Both games of the doubleheader will air on the Campbellsville University Sports Network as Jordan Alves will call the action. 
  • Fans can tune in 15 minutes before each game to hear coach Shannon Wathen's pregame thoughts on www.campbellsvilletigers.com/watch and also on Apple TV and the ROKU Streaming Apps by searching Campbellsville Sports Network.
Tiger Clawz:
  • Campbellsville went 2-3 overall at the NFCA Leadoff Classic in Columbus, Ga. over the weekend. CU lost a pair of 4-3 decisions to No. 7 Mobile and Warner University, lost 5-1 to Coastal Georgia, but won 4-3 over No. 5 Georgia Gwinnett and 9-1 over Rio Grande. 
  • The Lady Tigers enter with an 8-5 record overall.
  • After the doubleheader on Tuesday vs. Judson, CU will play Morningside and Faulkner on Friday and Blue Mountain and Martin Methodist on Saturday. All four games will be played at the Gulf Shores Sportsplex.
  • Last season at the Sportsplex and Gulf Coast Invitational, Campbellsville went 3-2 overall – winning over Houston-Victoria, Culver-Stockton and Ave Maria. 
  • The Lady Tigers also played at the Sportsplex for the NAIA Opening Round where it went 2-2 overall but reaching the championship series against the host Mobile.
Scouting Judson:
  • The Eagles enter with a 10-6 record overall after winning their last six games and seven of their last eight. 
  • In their final outing, the Eagles beat Lyon College 13-12 in 10 innings. 
  • After Judson plays Campbellsville on Tuesday, the Eagles will turn around and play William Woods on Wednesday at the Orange Beach Sportsplex. 
  • Judson is led by Skye Osborne's .404 batting average while Sydney Harrison is also hitting an even .400 while leading the team with 13 RBI. 
  • As a team, Judson is hitting .318 with 10 home runs and averaging 5.1 runs per game.
  • Also, Judson ranks second in the country with 36 doubles as a team and 14th with 143 hits overall.  
  • In the circle, the Eagles have a team-ERA of 3.95 in. 
  • Lauren Herlihy is 5-4 on the year with nine starts and seven complete games. She's tossed 59 innings, allowing 31 earned runs, striking out 36 but walking 20. 
  • The No. 2 for Judson has changed from Lindsey Zdroik and Skye Osborne. Both have three starts in the circle and are 2-1 overall.
