Matt Payton will be live from Bowling Green High School  for the play-by-play call of the action as fans can listen live locally in Campbellsville on WLCU-FM 88.7 The Tiger as well as fans anywhere being able to listen online at www.campbellsvilletigers.com/watch.

MSC TOURNEY FACTS
  • Since 1997, the Lady Tigers have won six MSC Tournament Championships, each of which came after taking the regular season title as well.
  • Their last title run came as recently as last season after Campbellsville went undefeated through the entirety of conference play and made their path through the conference tournament with wins over the University of the Cumberlands, Lindsey Wilson College, and Shawnee State University.

LIFE SERIES FACTS
  • Campbellsville and Life have a limited history that has been more recent since the Running Eagles joined the Mid-South Conference in 2016-17.
  • The Lady Tigers have won every matchup since that time as every game has had a double-digit margin of victory for CU and head coach Ginger High Colvin.
  • There have been three recorded games between Life and Campbellsville prior to the 2016-17 season with the teams meeting once in three-straight seasons from 1999-00 to 2001-02.
  • The home team won each of those games with CU earning two home wins, one in 1999 and the other in 2001 with the Running Eagles earning a 74-67 win in Marietta on Feb. 15, 2001 during the 2000-01 season.

LAST MEETING - JAN. 30
  • Life and Campbellsville have met twice this season as CU took double digit victories in each matchup.
  • After the Running Eagles provided a tough test for the Lady Tigers in their first meeting, CU used an 18-point first quarter advantage to help take down Life 98-61 in their visit to the Powell Athletic Center.
  • Campbellsville was led by a quartet of double-digit scorers as Madison Faulkner led the way shooting 9-14 from the field for 21 points.
  • Shooting 55% from the field in the contest, CU was able to force 32 turnovers and limiting the Running Eagles to 39.7%.
SCOUTING THE RUNNING EAGLES
  • Life University enters the contest with a 14-16 overall record and received the eighth seed in the conference tournament bracket.
  • As the Running Eagles played in the opening round against Cumberland University, they took a 99-49 win over the Phoenix behind a 31-point outing from Sydni Tears and another 24 from Tierra Lindsey.
  • Tears leads the Running Eagles in both scoring and rebounding after averaging 14.9 points per game and 6.35 rebounds per game behind the 12th most efficient shooting percentage from the field in the NAIA at 53.2%.
  • Much like the Lady Tigers who lead the NAIA, averaging 16.33 steals per game, the Running Eagles have had success in forcing turnovers as they rank eighth among NAIA opponents with 13.13 steals per contest. Maeisha Teasley who averages 4.27 steals ranks second in the NAIA and leads Life's defensive push.

TIGER CLAWZ
  • CU head coach Ginger High Colvin achieved the 20-win total for the 12th-straight time in her 13 seasons leading the charge for the Lady Tigers. The only season she did not lead Campbellsville to a 20-win season was in her first season as head coach when the Lady Tigers won 19 games.
  • Campbellsville is the No. 2 assisting team in NAIA Division I with a team total of 564 behind Caitlin Hall's 160 assists, good for No. 8 individually in that category.
  • Forcing turnovers has been a big part of the CU game plan this season as they force their opponents into 27.4 turnovers per game and rank first in NAIA DI in total steals at 490, steals per game at 16.33, and turnover margin at +11.73 this season.
  • The three-point shot has been a big benefit for the Lady Tiger offense as they rank No. 4 in the NAIA in team three-point percentage at 37.3 percent behind one of the best three-point shooters in NAIA DI as Lexy Lake ranks No. 6 in total threes made (87) as well as No. 12 in threes made per game (2.9), and No. 4 in three-point percentage (42.4%).

INDIVIDUAL MILESTONES WATCH
  • Upper classmen in the CU starting lineup have been and will be climbing the all-time leader boards in the history of Lady Tiger basketball.
  • Starting with Madison Faulkner joining the 1,000-point club, she now sits at 17th on the all-time scoring list with 1,464 career points.
  • Savannah Gregory has joined Faulkner in the 1,000-point club and now has 1,177 career points. She is also in the top-five on the career steals list as she is currently at 318, recently passing Mackenzie Lee and Rosanne Conlan for now at third all-time.
  • Gregory and Lee hold a little more of a connection than just being in the top-five on the career steals list as Gregory become the first Lady Tiger since Lee to reach the 1,000-point milestone during their junior campaigns. Lee eventually finished with 1,462 career-points, which is 16th all-time.
  • Senior Caitlin Hall currently has 581 career assists, just passing LeAnn Grider for third all-time on the career assists list.

1,000-WIN PLATEAU
  • In the 45th season of Lady Tiger basketball, Campbellsville reached a milestone that had only been accomplished twice in the history of NAIA women's basketball by winning 1,000 games.
  • The monumental win came in the Lady Tigers 91-59 win over Martin Methodist in Pulaski, Tenn. on Nov. 9 as part of the MSC/SSAC Crossover.
  • Campbellsville joins Wayland Baptist and Union University (Tenn.) as the only other programs to reach the feat as Union is no longer part of the NAIA after moving to the NCAA Division II level.

UP NEXT FOR CU
  • With a win the Lady Tigers will advance to the semifinal round on Sunday, March 8th at 2 p.m. ET where they will meet the will of Thomas More and the University of Pikeville.
