KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – The Lady Tigers continued their NAIA Championship on Thursday as they competed in the 200 free relay, 400 medley relay and
Hannah Rhodenbaugh's 500 freestyle.
While unable to work their way into the scoring column, Lady Tiger's Rhodenbaugh,
Faith Hyde,
Hannah Hager, and
Sara Howard started the day for CU, notching a 1:49.66 in the 200-freestyle relay.
Hyde, Rhodenbaugh, and Hager later teamed up with
Anna Lewis for the first time all season for the 400-medley relay, to mark a 4:43.61.
Coach
Casey Bradstreet was extremely pleased with the results of her relays, as they exemplified excellent teamwork and effort for a pair of solid swims.
Rhodenbaugh, in her busy day of action, later competed individually in the 500-yard freestyle and was able to close in a 5:32.03.
"As a freshman, it was wonderful to have her in the water competing in an individual event, and getting primed from her specialty events Friday and Saturday," said Bradstreet.
The Lady Tigers are set for more action on Friday as swimming begins at 10 a.m. ET.
