Barnes and Smallwood finish in 28th place to lead Tigers at FLW Central Qualifier

BRANSON, Mo. — Nine Campbellsville University boats were in the field at the FLW Central Conference Qualifier on Table Rock Lake as the Tigers were led by Tanner Barnes and Jordan Smallwood
 
The top Tiger duo finished in 28th place in the one-day tournament with a limit of bass weighing 12 pounds, 9 ounces. 
 
Campbellsville also had three boats in the Top 50. Kyle Roy and Grant Adams placed 45th with a limit of 10 pounds, 13 ounces, while Justin Mayfield and Colby Hayes were 47th with 10 pounds, 11 ounces. Wil Rigdon and Dalton Smith finished right behind by two ounces in 48th place with 10 pounds, 7 ounces. 
 
Western Michigan's Joshua Lopez and John Neubauer won the tournament with 18 pounds, 5 ounces – three ounces more than Central Missouri's Tad Deatherage and Caleb Romazon's 18 pounds, 2 ounces. The winners brought home $2,000 in prize money. 
 
Campbellsville will now have a week to prepare for the Cabela's Big Bass Bash on Kentucky Lake in Paris, Tenn. scheduled for March 14-15
