CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – The Tigers (1-3, 1-1 MSC) are returning to the field seven days after taking down the University of Pikeville as they take on the Cumberland University Phoenix (2-3, 1-1 MSC). Kickoff is this Saturday at 1:30 p.m. ET at Finley Stadium in Campbellsville.

TIGER NOTES
- Junior quarterback Joshua Meglis led the Tigers to the 31-28 victory over Pikeville. He threw for 297 yards, 3 touchdowns, and no interceptions. Senior wide receiver Michael Walker led the Tigers by catching five passes for 85 yards and two touchdowns.
- Running back D'Anta Sipp crossed the century mark in rushing yards for the second time this season by recording 101 yards.
- Special Teams played a pivotal role for the Tigers as a bad snap by Pikeville went over the head of the punter and the Tigers' Alex Patrick was able to recover the ball in the endzone for a touchdown. In the second quarter, junior kicker Devin Neally nailed a 41-yard field goal to put the Tigers up 24-21.
- The Tigers look to continue working on their run defense as the team has given up an average of 336 rushing yards to opponents this season.
SCOUTING CUMBERLAND UNIVERSITY
- The Phoenix's last game was a 14-10 home win against (21) University of the Cumberlands. Offensively, Jaylen Taylor finished with five receptions for 62 yards and caught both touchdown passes for the Phoenix. Treylon Sheppard had 18 carries for 79 yards as well.
- Cumberland University's offense averages 275 yards per game (130.6 rushing and 144.4 passing) while the defense allows an average of 338.8 yards per game (159.6 rushing and 179.2 passing). The Phoenix have a 32% conversion rate on third downs this season going 25-78.
- The Phoenix are very efficient inside the red zone scoring 8 out of their 9 trips (89%) with six of those resulting in touchdowns.
- The defense looks to remain strong as the Phoenix had the MSC Bluegrass Division Defensive Player of the Week. Champ Leddon had 12 tackles and two of those were tackles for loss.
