MONTGOMERY, WV – Campbellsville was able to make easy work of West Virginia Tech this afternoon defeating the Golden Bears 91-59.
Lexy Lake has eclipsed her 200
th 3-point basket of her career this afternoon while finishing with 15 points and five steals.
Faith Lake was able to join her sister in tying in scoring numbers with her 15 points. The duo combined for four threes on the day.
Campbellsville dominated the paint in the first half with a 20-10 overall advantage on the Golden Bears with the final point tally at 48-28.
Kaitlynn Wilks was a force in the paint on the day. All 12 of her points came from inside the paint.
Courtney Pritchett was all over the ball on the day. She had nine points, six assists, four rebounds, and four steals.
Lady Tigers turned quick defense into offense with 22 steals on the day and 34 points coming off turnovers.
Campbellsville now looks ahead to start the conference schedule strong. They begin with a two-game road stretch beginning with traveling to University of Pikeville Thursday November 18
th for a 6 p.m. matchup. They will head to University of the Cumberlands Saturday November 20
th for a 2 p.m. tip-off.
