KISSIMMEE, FLA. – The Tigers are through to the NCCAA Final Four as
Gustav Oskarsson was the hero this evening with the golden gold winning it 2-1.
It took two overtime periods to decide the match. Oskarsson was able to put the ball in the back of the net after a driven ball from
Tom Edge from 40-yards out on the diagonal ball.
Early on in the match Campbellsville was able to strike first with a goal from
Eleder Goicoechea in the 40
thminute. Goicoechea took the ball himself up the left wing into the box where he scored inside the 6-yard box putting the ball in the top left corner.
Southwestern Christian was able to counter in the 65
th minute to tie the match at 1-1. The final 25 minutes of regulation was even on both sides of the ball. When it came to the first overtime period it was similar to most of the match being a dead even on both sides.
The defense for the Tigers kept the net clean for most of the day with Southwestern Christian having a 21-11 shot advantage.

Jairo Fernandez kept it to only four of the shots hitting frame.
Physical play was the overall tone of the match as there were 35 fouls called. Campbellsville was able to dominate off the corner kicks with a 6-2 advantage.
Campbellsville was able to avenge the last time they met Southwestern Christian on this date December 1
st, 2017 in a 2-1 loss.

Campbellsville will await the seedings for the final four match in which will be played on Friday at either 12 p.m. or 2:30 p.m. ET depending on their seed number.
