PORTSMOUTH, OH – Lady Tigers were able to defeat the Bears in a dual meet Thursday evening 129-114.
Campbellsville was able to boast the meet with 10 event wins.
The team started off the day with a statement win in the 200m medley relay.
Lizandri Crewe-Brown,
Leah Zimmerman,
Sarah Wortham, and
Hannah Doyle were able to pick up the early win in the meet with a time of 2:11.91.
Hannah Rhodenbaugh was the first Lady Tiger to have an individual win on the afternoon. She pulled away early in the 800m freestyle with her time of 10:55.53.
Hannah Doyle came soon after Rhodenbaugh with her own individual win in the 200m freestyle. Her and teammates
Morgan Thomas and
Laya Young went 1-3 in the event. Doyle set a new school record with her time of 2:23.59.
Crewe-Brown kept the winning streak going for the Lady Tigers making it three events in a row. She won the 100m backstroke with a time of 1:11.23, 12 seconds ahead of second places Maggie Franks.
Sarah Wortham came in clutch in the 200m butterfly with her school record performance of 2:46.17, beating out her next opponent by 13 seconds. In the sprint,
Laya Young beat out her competition in the 50m freestyle hitting the wall at 29.30.
Leah Zimmerman won the 200m breaststroke finishing five seconds ahead of her competition in 3:05.89. In the 100m butterfly
Morgan Thomas won her event in 1:17.12 to finish out the individual wins on the day.
Campbellsville finished off the meet with one final school record in the 800m freestyle relay. Rhodenbaugh, Worthan, Doyle, and Crewe-Brown won the event with a new record time of 9:51.68.

Campbellsville will now head into the Christmas break and return to the pool on Friday January 7
th when they travel to Centre College.
