GREENVILLE, S.C. – The National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) has announced that Campbellsville University freshman Cierra Merrick has been named to their All-America 2^nd  team for the 2021 season.
 
Merrick, a middle back for the Lady Tigers, played in all 34 matches on the season where the team finished 24-10 overall and 12-4 in Mid-South Conference play. She led the team in kills with 290 and averaged 2.61 kills per set. Merrick's season ended with a .304 kill percentage and she was first on the team with 11 solo blocks and second in block assists (39).
 
The Lady Tigers reached the NCCAA National Tournament semifinals where they fell to Mid-America Christian University 3-1.
