Tigers square off with Running Eagles in a Tuesday night matchup

CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – Off to a strong start in their Mid-South Conference season, the Campbellsville University men's soccer team will host Life University this Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. ET at Finley Stadium.
 
ATTENDANCE AND BROADCAST INFORMATION
  • No spectators will be allowed to enter Finley Stadium due to the ongoing construction around the field for the stadium box and bleachers.
  • The game will air on the CU Sports Network online at www.campbellsvilletigers.com/watch as Zach Clements will be on the call for the MSC tilt.
 
TIGER NOTES
  • Campbellsville earned a 1-0 win over University of the Cumberlands last Saturday as their goal was scored via an own goal in the 53rd minute.
  • Goalkeeper Jeremi Campagnolo made six saves on his way to a shutout that helped him earn both MSC and NCCAA weekly honors as the freshman from Denmark earned his fourth MSC weekly honor of the season.
  • The game was relatively evenly matched with CU firing more shots but less on target, Cumberlands earning more corner kicks, and both teams earning two yellow cards apiece.
 
SCOUTING LIFE
  • The Running Eagles are 1-3 on the season with all of their games coming from Jan. 31 and later and their lone win coming on the road against Emmanuel.
  • In conference play, Life suffered losses to Cumberlands by a 2-1 final and Lindsey Wilson by a 5-2 final.
  • Fabian Pekruhl is the starter in goal for LU as he has allowed eight goals and made 11 saves for a .579 save percentage.
  • Offensively, four players have scored their five goals with Jelle De Graaf scoring twice, as Thierry Jules, Zidane Bogle, Luciano Diaz all have a goal to their credit.

  • Up next for Campbellsville will be a trip to Pikeville, Ky. for a matchup with the University of Pikeville on Sunday at 4 p.m. ET.
