BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Earning a 98-67 win in their regular season finale, the Campbellsville University women's basketball team had one final Mid-South Conference Player of the Week as senior
Sammy Rogers nabbed the honor for the second time this season.
Rogers scored a game-high 23 points on 9-of-12 shooting and 4-for-5 from three-point range as the Lady Tigers had a strong offensive performance in their win over Shawnee State last Saturday.
The Lawrenceburg, Ky. native also added five rebounds, three assists, and a blocked shot in the game as she played a team-high 25 minutes in the game. Rogers finished with regular season as the Lady Tigers' leading scorer, averaging exactly 17 points per game while also grabbing 4.7 rebounds per game.
Campbellsville women's basketball earned the No. 2 seed in the Mid-South Conference Tournament as they are scheduled to play their quarterfinal matchup in Bowling Green, Ky. on Saturday, Feb. 27 at 6 p.m. ET/5 p.m. CT in Bowling Green Arena.
