Coach Pete Hedgepath lands his second signee this week in Central Hardin's Blaire Mattingly

CAMPBELLSVILLE, KY – Head Coach Pete Hedgepath adds his second signee this week in Blaine Mattingly.

Mattingly comes out of Central Hardin High School and was also a decorated football player for his high school. He was a two-time varsity starter who earned first team all-area and all-district honors for offensive line.

During his high school bass fishing career, he was the 2019 runner-up angler of the year. He was a three time KBF state qualifier and during the 2020 season he qualified for the SAF National Championship.

"I chose Campbellsville because when looking for a school I wanted a great school for academics," said Mattingly. "Campbellsville has a great bass fishing team. Coach Hedgepath and Coach Blevins made me feel right at home and it was an easy choice."

Blaine plans to major in criminal justice during his time here at Campbellsville.

He is the son of Stephen and Kathleen Mattingly.
