BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Another routine 30-plus-point victory for the Campbellsville University women's basketball team as they won their Mid-South Conference quarterfinal matchup against Bethel University 76-44 on Saturday night.
The Lady Tigers outscored the Wildcats by double figures in each of the first three quarters to build their lead up to still win by 32 with a 10-10 fourth quarter. CU shot 41.5 percent from the field and 44.8 percent from three-point range compared to just 28 percent shooting from both the field and three-point range from Bethel.
Offensively, Campbellsville was led by
Savannah Gregory's 17-point game as she shot 6-of-7 from the field and a perfect 3-for-3 from deep. Gregory also added a team-high eight rebounds as the Lady Tigers outrebounded BU by nine total rebounds.
Sarah Sutton and
Faith Lake both added double figures off the bench for CU as Sutton scored 13 points and Lake added 11.
Sammy Rogers (9),
Lexy Lake (8),
Bailey Pedigo (5), and
Courtney Pritchett (2) rounded out the starting lineup for Campbellsville as
Maddy Boyle (5),
Elizabeth Bertram (5), and
Ashanti Gore (1) all added points off the bench.
Bethel's leading scorer was Millie Bryant as she scored 16 points on 6-of-12 shooting from the field as she knocked down four of her eight three-point shots taken in the game.
Campbellsville's next game will be at 3:30 p.m. ET/2:30 p.m. CT at Bowling Green Arena on Monday as they will play the winner of Lindsey Wilson vs. Pikeville for a chance to play in the MSC Championship.
