CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – Looking to take advantage of an improved forecast for the week, the Campbellsville University softball team and Asbury have agreed to play a doubleheader at Hord Softball Field this Tuesday starting at 1 p.m. ET.
The games will be streamed on the CU Sports Network online at

Zach Clements will be on the call live from Hord Field for the pair of games.
No visiting fans are permitted to attend the games on Tuesday as families of the Lady Tiger players and Campbellsville students can attend the game as all attendees will be screened by CU staff, must wear masks, social distance, as all fans will have to provide their own seating if they'd like to sit.
LADY TIGER NOTES
- Campbellsville is coming off of a pair of wins on the road in Martin Methodist as they earned a pair of mercy rule wins, 14-4 and 13-0.
- In those games, the Lady Tigers produced 25 hits over 10 innings at the plate as senior Mia Aldridge had a seven-RBI doubleheader with her five-RBI game two that included a three-run home run in the third inning.
- Riley Hurst, Keely Bowling, and Ryley Whitney all added home runs in game one as all three of those Lady Tigers had multi-RBI games in game one.
- The starting pitching duo of Payton Blades and Karson Williams each went four innings in the games with Williams throwing four shutout innings with four strikeouts.
SCOUTING ASBURY
- The Eagles are 1-3 so far on the year with their lone win coming against the Lady Tigers back on Feb. 21 in Williamsburg, Ky. as part of the Beer Creek Invitational.
- In that game, Bree Sanders and Ashleigh Bobo recorded two hits apiece as those two hits are the only hits on the season for Bobo and Sanders on the season.
- Abby Fletcher currently leads AU in batting with a .455 (5-11) average with two runs scored and two RBIs.
- In the circle, McKenzie Meyer went all seven innings against the Lady Tigers as she struck out 10 batters, allowing only six hits and a single run in that game.
LOOKING AHEAD
- Campbellsville will remain home for their next six games after Tuesday when they host Freed-Hardeman for a four-game series at Hord Field this Friday and Saturday.
