Men's golf earns highest ranking in program history at No. 9 to start the spring

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — In the first edition of the 2020-21 NAIA Men's Golf Coaches' Top 25 Poll, Campbellsville University ranks No. 9 to start the spring season. 
 
The No. 9 ranking is the highest in program history for Campbellsville as the Tigers have won five tournaments in the last calendar year and have the majority of their core group of upperclassmen back this spring.
 
Campbellsville earned 337 voting points from the national raters to sit just inside the Top 10 above Ottawa University – which earned a first-place vote. 
 
Point University earned 14 first place votes with 465 total points to be ranked No. 1. Keiser, Wayland Baptist, Coastal Georgia and USC Beaufort all round out the Top 5. 
 
The Mid-South Conference is represented by three teams in the Top 25. Lindsey Wilson ranks No. 13, while Cumberland University is tied for 18th with Southeastern University. 
 
Campbellsville's season starts today and tomorrow as the Tigers are in Pinehurst, N.C. for the Georgetown College Spring Invitational.
