BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – In what was potentially the best performance of his career on the Campbellsville University men's golf team, Jon Brewington was named the Mid-South Conference Men's Golfer of the Week following his win at the MSC Spring Preview at Bear Trace at Cumberland Mountain Golf Course.
 
Brewington shot a two-round total of 140 (-4) which was five strokes better than the runner-up and the only individual score under pay for the entire tournament. His first-round 73 placed him in seventh but Brewington came out in the second round to shoot a career-low 67 to push him to the top of the leaderboard.
 
The Tigers also finished with their fourth team tournament victory of the season as Brewington's individual performance helped CU finished five strokes ahead of runners-up Cumberland University.
 
Campbellsville men's golf will be off this week in preparations for the Mid-South Conference Championship on Apr. 26-28 when they travel to Bowling Green, Ky. to play at Bowling Green Country Club.
