BOWLING GREEN, KY – The Lady Tigers won a five set thriller to start post season play as they defeated Martin Methodist (25-17, 23-25, 26.28, 25-18, 15-8).
 
Paige Merrick was all around the court Thursday evening. She had 55 of the teams 60 assists. She was one kill off tying her career high in kills with nine on the day. Merrick added 15 digs to her stat sheet at the end of the match. 
 
Sophie Ball led the charge on the attacking end with 16 kills with Sonia Flendrich finishing with 14 kills. Overall the Lady Tigers were able to collect the second highest amount of kills on the season with 69. 
 
Flendrich and Katie Morin were able to lead the team in digs collecting 60 of the teams 113 total digs. Campbellsville had four individuals with double digit numbers in digs with Flendrich and Morin leading followed by Merrick with 11, and Taylor Thacker with 11. 
 
Overall Campbellsville held Martin Methodist to a .091 attacking percentage while the Lady Tigers had a .183 percentage. 
 
The Lady Tigers will now play Lindsey Wilson in the conference semi-finals Friday April 9^th at 12 p.m. central. Campbellsville will look to avenge their regular season finale loss to the Blue Raiders falling 3-1.
