MOBILE, Ala. – On their way to attempting to make their third-straight NCCAA Championship dual, the Campbellsville University men's tennis team was defeated by No. 4 Judson University on Thursday, ending their tournament run in the semifinals.
The Eagles took the doubles point with wins at No. 1 (6-2) and No. 3 (6-3) over the CU tandems of Matus Sevick and
Mario Sanchez at No. 1 along with
Grayson Cullen and
Pablo Mossenta at No. 3.
Judson was able to take singles matches at No. 2, No. 3, and No. 4 against the Tigers to claim that quick 4-0 victory before any CU singles player could score a win. Sevcik (6-1, 6-4), Sanchez (6-2, 6-1), and Nicholas Weisner (6-1, 6-4) all dropped their matches with
