CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – The Campbellsville University football team kicks off the 2021 season against Union College this Thursday at home at 6:00 p.m. ET.

TIGER NOTES
- This game is the first primetime Tiger Football home opener since 2017 when Campbellsville defeated Pikeville, 28-14.
- Last season, the Tigers went 1-6 with their only win coming against Pikeville. UPIKE finished their 2020 season 3-4.
- Campbellsville is 17-9 all-time against Union College. Their last games was at Union where the Tigers were victorious 52-14 behind three touchdowns and 157 receiving yards by Kendon Young.
- After the first three contests, the remaining seven games of the Tigers' schedule will be against Mid-South Conference opponents.
- This season, Campbellsville has brought in new Wide Receivers coach and Special Teams Coordinator Mike Griffiths. In addition, Griffiths has more than twenty years of high school coaching experience and has served as the Head Coach of Pineville High School, Marion County High School, and Green County High School football programs with an overall Head Coaching record of 142-45. During this time, he received District Coach of the Year honors four times, won 3 District Championships, 3 Regional Finalists, and 2 undefeated regular season teams. He also was the Head Coach of the Jefferson County East All- Star Team.
