CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – It will have been 12 days since they fell to (13) Reinhardt University when the Campbellsville University Fighting Tigers (0-2) look to bounce back against Mid-South Conference foe Thomas More University (1-2). The game will be this Thursday at 6 p.m. ET at Finley Stadium in Campbellsville.

TIGER NOTES
	- Sophomore quarterback Chase Elmore made his season debut against the Eagles of Reinhardt University. He threw for 165 yards, one touchdown, and one interception. A huge 65-yard touchdown to freshmen Luke Sheperson highlighted the offensive passing production.
 
	- Defensive backs Kobe Reese and Chance Lucas lead the Tigers defense with 16 tackles on the season. Sophomore Kale Hagan has recorded 1.5 sacks for the most on the squad.
 
	- Campbellsville has been able to keep the yellow off the field this season. They have only six penalties over their first two games.
 
	- The Tigers seek to shore up their run defense against the Saints. The Campbellsville defense has allowed an average of 333 yards rushing against them in their two contests this season.
 
 
SCOUTING THOMAS MORE
	- The Saints' last game was a 20-14 road loss to Southeastern University (Fla.). Offensively, Roques Dowdy led the Saints with 120 receiving yards boosted by a 92-yard touchdown. Maleek Jarrett had 78 rushing yards on just ten attempts and a touchdown.
 
	- Thomas More's offensive averages 292 yards per game (87.3 rushing and 204.7 passing) while their defense allows 437 yards per game (122.7 rushing and 314.3). The Saints' offense is 14 of 45 on third-down conversions (31%).
 
	- The Saints are efficient in the red zone. They have been able to score on 82% of their red zone appearances (9-11) with seven of those being touchdowns.
 
	- Comparatively to Campbellsville, the Saints have had 14 penalties across their first three games of the season.
 
MATCHUP HISTORY
	- The Tigers are 2-2 all-time against Thomas More University.
 
	- Their most recent game was earlier this year on February 20, 2021, when the Tigers fell to the Saints 27-48. Campbellsville held a 21-6 lead after the first quarter but Thomas More responded with a massive 21-point second period to outscore the Tigers 42-6 the rest of the way.
 
	- In the last game between the Tigers and the Saints, Chase Elmore had 218 yards passing, three touchdowns, and three interceptions. Wide receiver Tate Pringle led Campbellsville with 111 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
 
	- There was over 20 years between the Tigers' and the Saints' second and third matchups. Campbellsville University won their second ever contest 16-10 back on October 3, 1998. Their third contest wouldn't come until October 12, 2019, in Campbellsville where the Saints won 31-28.
