Tiger Esports Weekly Recap – Sep. 20-24

CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – The Campbellsville University Esports teams picked up four wins across four games last week.
 
CU had two Smash groups competing last week. The Varsity team would split their matches, picking up a 1-0 victory over the Skyhawks of Keiser University. They would drop their matchup against Shawnee State 0-1.
 
The Smash Academy was also in participation, splitting their results as well. They opened with a loss to Bethel University before bouncing back to a 1-0 win over the St. Thomas Bobcats.
 
Rocket League started out the week slow but built some momentum coming into the match this week. University of the Cumberlands got the best of CU winning 2-0. The Tigers would dial up back-to-back wins over St. Thomas 2-0 and a 2-1 win over the Phoenix of Cumberland University. The Rocket League squad brings a 2-1 record into this week of matchups.
 
The last team in action was the Overwatch squad. They had one matchup with Shawnee State last week, dropping that one 2-0.
 
The Campbellsville University Esports team will be back in action this week, looking to improve on their 4-4 overall team record.
