COLUMBIA, KY – Final touch ups and key point scorers led the Lady Tigers down Highway 55 Saturday afternoon against the Blue Raiders.
A total of four different relays were able to find themselves in scoring position. In the 200 medley relay
Lizandri Crewe-Brown,
Leah Zimmerman,
Maggie Gibson, and
Sarah Wortham placed third with a time of 1:59.37. Crewe-Brown was part of all four scoring relays.
In the 400 free relay
Hannah Doyle, Wortham, Gibson, and Crewe-Brown placed fourth in the event hitting the wall at 4:02.93. In the 200 free relay the same quartet placed third in the event with a time of 1:49.82.
The final relay was the 400 medley relay made up of Crewe-Brown, Doyle, Zimmerman, and
Hannah Rhodenbaugh. They finished out fourth overall in the event collecting two points with a time of 4:36.68.
In the 200 backstroke, Crewe-Brown and Rhodenbaugh finished back to back in second and third place. Crewe-Brown was the runner-up in the event touching the wall in 2:20.27 while Rhodenbaugh in the bronze medal position with her split time of 2:22.71.
The 1650 free saw another back to back finish for the Lady Tigers. Doyle finished second with her time of 20:24.55, while Rhodenbaugh finished third with her time of 20:44.82.
In the 200 breaststroke, Zimmerman had another runner-up finish at 2:51.42.
Isabel Taylor finished third in the event at 3:03.12.
For the final individual events of the day in the 100 backstroke Crewe-Brown finished out her day with a third place finish in a time of 1:06.98. Wortham was the last Lady Tiger to collect points placing second at 2:33.36.
This concludes the Lady Tigers regular season. Campbellsville will now travel to Kingsport, TN February 2-5 for the Mid-South Conference Championships.
