GREENVILLE, SC – Coach Adam Preston has been named the 2021 NISOA Frank Jewell Award Recipient. 
 
This award is presented annually to an individual who has displayed Christian character and integrity while coaching soccer within the NCCAA. The award is presented by the National Intercollegiate Soccer Official's Association (NISOA) in memory of Frank Jewell, NISOA liaison with the NCCAA from 1983-2010. It is selected by the NCCAA Executive Director and a representative from NISOA.

"We are thrilled and honored for Adam to receive this prestigious award," said Athletic Director Jim Hardy. "I can think of no better honor for both our athletic program and our university than for one of our staff to be recognized for the way he conducts himself and his program with integrity and great character. Adam truly exemplifies these attributes in all walks of life. We are very fortunate to have him as part of our CU Athletics family as well as a colleague and friend."
 
Coach Preston has served on several mission trips for Campbellsville University athletics including destinations such as Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, and most recently in 2019 Belize. The men's soccer team is involved in the NCCAA Christian Service Project each time it comes around.
 
Each fall at Campbellsville University, the athletic department holds the Fall Festival. The Fall Festival allows kids from around the area to come and trick or treat with the student athletes. Coach Preston and his team fully embrace the community when it comes time. 

"I am extremely humbled to be honored as the NISOA Frank Jewell Award Recipient," said Coach Preston. "The leadership of the NCCAA has consistently set an example for Christian character and inspires me in my daily walk. The list of the previous winners includes several men that I have come across on the field and truly look up to. I am genuinly grateful for the continued calling God has placed on my life to coach and mentor young men, while sharing my own faith."
