CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – Campbellsville University's cheer and dance team hosted their first and only home competition of the 2022 season. The Tiger's cheer team was unable to compete. However, the Tiger dance team left Powell Athletic Center in second place behind Thomas More University Friday evening. 
 
In both rounds, Campbellsville were second to see the floor following the Saints. The Lady Tigers totaled a 73.3 in the first round after receiving a one-point deduction. Campbellsville trailed the Saints by four points due to Thomas More's avoidance of subtractions to their score.
 
The Lady Tigers went into round two prepared to better their first-round score. Campbellsville finished round two with a score of 76.65. Although the Lady Tigers fell to the Saints, the team improved to a state of zero deductions. 
 
The Lady Tigers will return to action February 6^th. Campbellsville will be traveling Highway 55 to compete in a competition hosted by Lindsey Wilson College.
