CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky.– Fighting Tiger Football hosted Faulkner University in Saturday afternoon's match. The Tigers were unable to generate more than 300 yards offense and allowed nearly 500 from the Eagles as they dropped the contest, 49-17.
In the first moments of the game, Campbellsville's drive ended early and resulted in a punt. In Faulkner's response, the Eagles took an 11-play, 80-yard drive and collected their first touchdown. In the Eagles' second drive, the Tigers held them off via a
Donsha Knox interception from a pass intended for a Faulkner player on the Eagles' third down. Campbellsville began making their way to the endzone converting consistent first downs.

Luke Sheperson posted another touchdown for the Tigers. Faulkner did not hesitate to react acquiring another touchdown of their own on their subsequent drive after just two plays from scrimmage. The Tigers' discrepancy grew as the Eagles scored another touchdown in their next opportunity with.the ball, on the back of just two plays again. Campbellsville's intended pass had been intercepted by Faulkner and granted the Eagles great field position. As the half dwindled, the Tigers went down the field and Neally managed to complete a 50-yard field goal. Campbellsville cut into the lead as the halftime horn sounded, 28-17.
At the half, Campbellsville's statistics spoke to the Tiger's discrepancy. Campbellsville averaged 3.8 yards per play whereas Faulkner averaged 8.6.
