PIKEVILLE, Ky.–– The Tiger soccer team hit the road to Pikeville University for a Mid-South battle. Campbellsville swept the Bears with a 4-0 conference win. 
In the first few moments of the match, Joshua Quigley collected his first save as Campbellsville's goalkeeper. The Tigers returned to offense and responded with taking shots of their own. The Tigers found themselves on the scoreboard first as Gustav Oskarsson pitched his shot in (assisted by Sebastiano Musu). Campbellsville continued to keep an offensive drive as Oskarsson tallied his second goal in the 25th minute. The Tigers continued to keep the Bears stagnant in their pursuit to scratch at the trail. With five minutes remaining in the first half, Gabriel Ramos increased the Tiger lead. 
The Tigers collected six corners in the first half. Thus, speaking to Campbellsville's intensity to score. The Tigers had taken 12 shots in comparison to Pikeville's 5 shots. Quigley collected three saves by the half. 
Liam Harris started off the second half with a swift goal in the 47thminute. Franco Brunoro went in at goalie to make his collegiate debut for the Tigers. Campbellsville allowed very few shots to be taken toward their goal, but nothing had come from the Bears' attempts. Campbellsville dominated the playing field and kept Pikeville to zero goals for the remainder of the match. 
By game's end, the Tigers had taken 21 shots toward the Bears' goal. Pikeville had only taken a total of 10 shots on the match. Brunoro ended his time at goalie with three saves, which totaled six between Brunoro and Quigley. The Tigers now stand 2-3-1 in conference play. 
The Tigers will head back to Finley Stadium to host #20 University of the Cumberlands for another Mid-South game. Saturday's kickoff is set to begin at 8 P.M. ET.
