GRAND RAPIDS, Mi. – Lukas and
Myles Smithson paved the way on Saturday afternoon leading the team to a seventh place finish in the white race at the NAIA Great Lakes Invitational.
Lukas Smithson had a strong outing finishing in a time of 26:26:70, ending up sixth overall. Myles came in at 26:50:60, also placing Top-20 in the event.
Sam Bennett was the next Tiger to cross the line at 27:40:70, followed by
Dakota Brady at 27:58:90. Rounding out the top five was
Caleb Flanagan. He ended the race with a time of 28:23:40.
Trevor Hansen finished in 28:35.10 and
Alex Steen went 28:55.90.
The Tigers take on the Mid-South Conference Championships in Bowling Green, Ky. on Friday, November 4
th.
