FAIRFIELD, OH – The Tigers competed in the MSC Cincinnati Collegiate Classic this past weekend for their second MSC tournament of the year.
Andrew McWhorter took individual bronze while the team finished 12
th.
The MSC Cincinnati Collegiate Classic consisted of nine team games over two days at Roll House in Fairfield, OH.
McWhorter made the All-Tournament Team finishing third out of 178 bowlers, averaging 226 for nine games bowled. McWhorter had three games shooting over 260 to finish with 2,034 pins, 73 pins below second place. This is his second time making the All-Tournament team this season, with his first being at the Welcome Back Tournament earlier in September. Ambrose Shirk was the closest Tiger to him, placing 21
st and averaging 198.
The Tigers were in third after game one Saturday shooting 1,037. They struggled a little before ending Saturday with a 996 block, dropping down to 10
th. The Tigers would grind out the rest of Sunday dealing with tricky transition on the lanes, and ultimately finished 12
th out of 17 teams.
The Tiger's next tournament is the MSC Brandon Burns Memorial November 19
