TALLAHASSEE, FLA. – Lukas Smithson completed his season at the NAIA National Championships this morning placing 232^nd.
 
Smithson was able to hold position throughout the course of the race Friday morning. Over the first three kilometers of the race, he moved up 25 spots. Lukas then moved up another eight spots in at the six-kilometer mark of the race.
 
Smithson went on to run a time of 26:40.00 to round out his cross country season. Lukas placed seventh at the Mid-South Conference Championships to earn the fourth and final spot for the conference at the NAIA National Championships.
 
Campbellsville will now look to the indoor track season with the season opener happening on Saturday December 3^rd in Louisville, KY.
